Spoiled Wife Cattle Co. is located on the eastern plains of northern Colorado!  What started on 5 acres with a plan to have a couple cows and small animals quickly changed to 35 acres and ALL THE COWS!  Shrek started it all when he came from his home in Missouri to our home in Colorado. He was the smallest little guy at 8 months old and 35" tall but he took up a big place in my heart. Knowing he couldn't be alone a couple weeks after we made a 10 hour drive(one way) to pick up our white park, Fiona, they quickly became the best of friends. When we moved to more land we added more and more cows. 

We do our best to socialize animals prior to them leaving our farm; from being around kids to dogs & cats. Health and happiness of our animals are our biggest priority!

Spoiled Wife Cattle Company is located on the high plains of Northern Colorado. Owned and operated by Ashley and Dale Bouse, with the occasional help from our little ones. 

When we started this neither Dale nor myself had a clue what we were doing. Dale grew up in the city in Missouri, and moved out to Colorado for work shortly before we met. (What are the odds both my favorite guys-Dale and Shrek- came from Missouri?!) 

I grew up in a small town in Colorado and while I've always had a knack for animals; I never had experience with farm animals. We started with the usual chickens and goats, after having them I knew I needed cows! We no longer raise goats or chickens, aside from the two stragglers that roam around still; as my focus has turned solely to the cows. 

Being a stay at home mom I do most of the animal care on my own. I spend way more time with the cows than I should admit. I check on them multiple times a day with treats and brushes. They are probably some of the most spoiled cows out there and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
