How does the deposit work?
Why Miniature cattle?
Minis are the perfect cows for smaller acreages. They are easier of fences and they will eat about 1/3 less than average size cows in turn being easier on you pastures. They are the perfect intro to cows, but after being around the cuteness you wont want a bigger one!
How do I reserve a calf?
If you would like to reserve a calf a 50% non refundable deposit will be due. Deposits are only refunded if we can not produce the calf eg; death, illness,injury etc. Refunds will not be permitted for change of mind. So please BE SURE prior to reserving.
If there is a certain pairing you are interested in please send an email/text message and we will put you down to be notified when that particular pairs offspring arrives.
What’s the process?
Once you find the one you the love and the calf is ready to wean they will be worked on with haltering, brushing, bathing (weather permitting) and exposed to as much human interaction as possible. They will be social and friendly.
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to hold a calf, so please be sure prior to placing a deposit. This is accompanied by a livestock sales contract that you will receive a copy of.
-Deposits can be sent through Zelle, Venmo
- Deposits will ONLY be refunded in the event that we can not produce the calf ie; illness, death, etc
-Calves must be picked up within 10 days of being notified that the calf is ready and full payment is received. If calf is not picked up in that time a $8 per day board fee will be added and due prior to calf leaving. Unless discussed prior.
Are they going to stay small?
While they will stay smaller than your average cow, don't be fooled by what you see on Instagram and Facebook. many of those are still calves being led around.
You can expect these cows to be up to 700-900 lbs. they are still cows after all.
I’m local, can I visit?
Yes, if you are local and would like to see the cows prior to putting down a deposit or if you put a deposit and would like to visit your calf prior to weaning that can be arranged on a appointment basis
What payments are accepted?
Once you’re ready we accept venmo, Zelle, or Cash if in person to reserve.
When the calf is picked up the remainder is due prior to them leaving our farm in cash if picking up in person and Zelle if being transported.
